Penetrant Testing
Liquid Penetrant Testing uses a colored or fluorescent dye to reveal surface-breaking cracks on non-porous materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, and castings.
What Our Technicians Will Do:
Our technicians will clean your parts, apply the penetrant, allow proper dwell time, remove excess dye, and apply developer to draw out indications. They will evaluate the part under visible or UV light (depending on the method) and provide you with clear results and documentation.
Where It Can Be Done:
You can drop off small to medium parts at our lab, or our team can perform PT on your jobsite for welds, equipment, or large assemblies.
Why It Matters:
PT is excellent for revealing very fine cracks that are not visible to the naked eye.
