US-NDT began in 1995 when Doug Johnston, a dedicated and highly respected inspector, purchased the company he had worked in since 1984 — Met Chem Testing Laboratories. He built a reputation for honesty, accuracy, and service that treated every customer like a partner, not a transaction.

In 2015, the company modernized and rebranded as US-NDT, continuing to serve industries with the same values Doug instilled.

Today, ownership has passed to Tyler Johnston, who carries forward that legacy with the same commitment to integrity and customer care.
Three decades later, clients who started with us in the 90s still choose US-NDT — because they trust the work and the people behind it.
